Opened on October 9, 2008 in Sandy, UT, Rio Tinto Stadium is a 20,000 seat state-of-the art facility that will be the permanent home to MLS's Real Salt Lake. Designed by world renowned architectural firm Rossetti, the facility will also play host to concerts, family shows and other special events as it looks to set the standard for mid-sized outdoor stadiums in the United States.
