On July 3, 2008 SCP Worldwide closed on the purchase of the Peoria Rivermen (www.rivermen.net). The franchise, which is the American Hockey League affiliate for the St. Louis Blues, calls the Carver Arena at the Peoria Civic Center home. The Alaska Aces are the Rivermen's ECHL ("AA") affiliate.
