KALL700 Sports Radio
Dating back to just after World War II, KALL700 Sports Radio is one of the long time heritage names and signals in Salt Lake City Radio. The station, originally brought on air as KALL 910 by George Hatch, has been the longtime home for University of Utah Athletics and is also the flagship station for Real Salt Lake of Major League Soccer. During the day its signal reaches 50,000 watts, the maximum output allowed by any AM station in the United States. KALL is also the Utah home for ESPN Radio and its 24-hour news and entertainment properties. In addition to ESPN Radio programs "Mike and Mike in the Morning" and "The Herd", the station also carries the nationally syndicated "Dan Patrick Show". Bill Riley and Spencer Checketts handle local Utah sports landscape with the popular Bill and Spence Show in the popular afternoon drive time-slot .
