St. Louis Blues
On June 30, 2006, SCP Worldwide closed the purchase of the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League, becoming the seventh owner of the illustrious franchise. The franchise, which celebrated its 40th Anniversary this past season, has developed a rich history and tradition while building one of the most devoted fan bases in all of sports.
As part of the purchase, NHL icon John Davidson was named President, St. Louis Blues and is currently in charge of the franchise's hockey operations. In addition, sports industry veteran Peter McLoughlin was named CEO, St. Louis Blues Enterprises, which encompasses all non-hockey operations including sales, marketing and finance, with an eye toward growth opportunities and new business for the Blues and the Scottrade Center.
